Consultations
If the client is living a healthy lifestyle and is not feeling any pain, we can establish if any additional exercises could be beneficial to prevent any future pain or injury.
Consultations
During the consultation we evaluate the patients range of motion, muscle strength, ascertain the sense of well-being and expectations. A primary physiotherapy diagnosis is given. We provide suggestions to improve the physical health condition and create a personal exercise program.
Indications:
- neck pain
- waist
- pain spreading into limbs, numbness
- migraine headaches
- joint pain
- spinal hernia
- injury prevention
If the patient is living a healthy lifestyle and is not feeling any pain, we can establish if any additional exercises could be beneficial to prevent any future pain or trauma. It is recommended that such physical evaluation took place once a year.
During the consultation a physical therapy diagnosis is provided. We consult about ergonomics and correct posture, create a personal exercise program, apply manual therapy techniques and provide individual recommendations with the goal to get the patient back to their normal routine or hobby. We recommend that the patient provides their medical history for a more accurate consultation.
Indications:
- neck pain
- waist pain
- pain spreading into limbs, numbness
- migraine headaches
- joint pain
- spinal hernia
- injury prevention

This consultation is for patients in a hurry or unable to visit the clinic. Registration is necessary. Please inform us 1 hour prior to the consultation in case you cannot attend.
Recommended for:
- condition evaluation
- discussion of different treatment methods
- evaluation of effectiveness of implemented treatment
Individual (1 on 1) procedures
The exact location of the pain can provide the practitioner with a lot of valuable information about the nature and cause of the pain. If joint wear is not detected pain can be caused by muscle, ligament, tendon problems.
Often the problem is complex and pain relief methods are used such as physical therapy, manual therapy, joint movement techniques, eltrostimulation, analgesics, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory and antirheumatic drugs.
Individual (1 on 1) procedures
A personal exercise course is being carried out with the supervision of the physical therapist, who evaluates if any changes to the course should be applied. The physical therapist teaches to perform the exercises correctly and selects the optimal load. After learning the course, the patient can easily perform the exercises at home independently and safely. We recommend monthly check-ups to re-evaluate the overall well-being of the patient and to see if any changes need to be made to the exercise program.
Evaluation:
- exercise performance correctness
- possible motion performance modelling of the selected exercises
- patients well-being and physical preparation
Individual combined therapy is applied to relieve chronic illnesses and pain. By applying different physical therapy methods and aids constantly we can achieve the best results in helping the patient.
Applied methods:
- Mulligan Concept mobilization with movement
- manual therapy techniques
- healing massage/sports massage
- taping
- electric stimulation
- personalised exercise selection
By applying manual therapy we can restore normal joint arthrokinematics, improve joint capsule mobility and joint fluid supply, which ensures effective joint lubrication. The increase of joint mobility, surrounding tissue blood circulation and metabolism, relieves pain, helps perform movements more easily and correctly, which guarantees a long term effect. During the treatment not only the joints range of movement increases, but also the mobility of soft tissue (fascia, muscle and tendons).
Indications:
- joint pain
- limited movements
- dizziness
- muscle pain
- impaired pattern of correct motion
- contractures
During an individual consultation the baby is stimulated to perform correct movements based on the characteristics of their development stage. With the help of the physical therapist movements are stimulated, muscle tone is normalised, joint mobility is increased. The parents are involved into the health program and are taught to perform the exercises.
Improved properties:
- coordination
- balance
- muscle tone
- joint mobility
After long term immobility due to torn ligaments or broken bones the joint range of motion decreases. After operations scars limit movements, skin loses its elasticity. Applied manual stretching techniques ensure faster healing, restoration of range of motion, and relieve pain. Joint surfaces receive better lubrication and decrease the stretching sensation of scars and joints.
Indications:
- broken bones
- joint operations
- ligament sprain
- big scars after operations
- Achile’s tendon reconstruction
Voluntary movements are initiated and coordinated by the central nervous system. After a stroke or any other central nervous system injury, balance and coordination are disrupted or muscle tone is completely lost. With the help of a physical therapist the patient re-learns lost movements and their models. The injured limb muscle tone is normalised and movement coordination is improved.
Indications:
- stroke
- spinal and head brain trauma
- myelopathy
- cerebral palsy
- central nervous system tumors
After testing the patients muscle strength and joint range of motion, a personal exercise program is compiled. Taking the improvements of the patients well-being, the program is adjusted.
Considerable properties:
- age
- type and intensity of pain
- physical preparation
- personal goals
*Personal exercise program adjustment (up to 45min)
Group Procedures
Group procedures
With the goal of reaching the highest possible effect, the workouts are carried out in small groups. The exercises are selected personally and can be changed with each workout.
All physical traits are being practiced in the group. Overall well-being is improved along with flexibility, stamina, and muscle strength. Safe exercises guarantee the effective prevention of pain and injury.
Massage therapy
Massage therapy is used for: relaxation, reduction of pain, activation of blood circulation, reduction of muscle aura, improvement of muscle condition, reduction of swelling, prevention of contractures.
Massage therapy
Healing back massage is applied as an aid in physical and manual therapy. It effectively decreases the stiffness of after surgical scars, activates blood circulation, improves lymph circulation, and metabolism. Helps to decrease the swelling and pain. Improves skin and muscle elasticity. Appropriate appliance of healing massage strengthens health, improves sleeping quality and overall well-being.
Recommended:
- for people with sedentary jobs
- after operations and trauma
- for people suffering from spinal and joint diseases
Full body medical massage is applied as an aid in physical and manual therapy. During the massage manual therapy principles are applied. Recommended for people, who enjoy stronger, more intense massages.
Recommended:
- for people with sedentary jobs
- after operations and trauma
- for people suffering from spinal and joint diseases
- after intensive workouts
- to relieve intense pain
Due to various respiratory tract diseases exudate can accumulate in the lungs, which irritates receptors in the trachea and causes coughing. During the massage vibrating, precision and vocal techniques are applied along with healing positions, which help remove phlegm from the respiratory tract.
The goal of a sports massage is to affect the deep tissue and maintain high muscle tone. Can be applied to the whole body or separate parts. This massage is very strong and intense. The procedure can be applied to the bare patient or having tight clothes on.
Recommended:
- after muscle overload
- muscle pain relief
- muscle tension relief
- after intensive professional or amateur exercise
- trauma prevention
- before upcoming competition
Other Procedures
Other procedures
Taping is a scientifically proven method that came from Japan. It is applied in rehabilitation as an aid, which doesn’t constrain joint range of motion and allows the muscle-skeletal and nervous systems self correct. Different taping techniques are based on anatomy, bio-mechanics and physical knowledge and principles.
Taping is applied to:
- relieve inflammations
- improve lymph and blood circulation
- correct muscle, tendons and fascia
- carpal tunnel syndrome, epicondylitis
- decrease swelling and hematomas
- correct posture
With the help of an electrostimulation machine the muscles are involuntarily contracted. During this, an exercise is being performed to overcome this contraction. Applying different frequencies of muscle power, and endurance is increasing. There is no need for additional weights or other inventory.
Transcutaneous electric nerve stimulation (TENS) is a modern clinical trial approved pain relief method. Muscles, joints and soft tissues are manipulated through the electrodes on skin. Electric impulses transferred to the muscle fiber reduce intense or chronic pain and inflammation.
When to apply:
- joint pain
- back muscle pain
- post surgery pain
- to improve blood circulation
- to reduce inflammation
